Who is Franklin Eyewear?

Franklin Eyewear® was founded by Al Underwood, who took great interest in the eyewear displays in his neighborhood pharmacy growing up. If you’ve seen the movie, “The Help” you’ve seen that pharmacy. Al kept that interest active so while in college he started in business selling sunglasses and other items to mom-and-pop stores.

The eyewear market continues to change, with baby boomers aging, reading glasses have become more popular. Franklin Eyewear’s® program is designed around quality and style, with value pricing. Their color-coded system makes it easy to shop and restock products on the shelves.
