Shannon Battle (00:11):
Hello everyone. Welcome to another edition of IPC’s Vendor Advantage Network Monthly Spotlight videos. My name is Shannon Battle. I’m the pharmacy services manager here at Independent Pharmacy Cooperative, and today I’m happy to announce a new preferred vendor in our network. I have Hayden Goldman here with Olympia Pharmaceuticals, and I’m sure many of you have seen this on your newsfeed lately with all the interest and sterile compounding expansions in your pharmacy offerings. And since GLP ones have basically tanked for most of us, we’re all scrambling for something new. So we want to make sure that you guys have that option. Hayden, thank you for being here, for giving our members a bit of your time and really looking for the insights that you have to offer here.

Hayden Goldman (00:52):
Absolutely, Shannon.

Shannon Battle (00:54):
Can you tell us a bit about Olympia’s background and where you are today?

Hayden Goldman (00:59):
Yeah, absolutely. So Olympia Pharmacy, we’ve been a 503B outsourcing facility since 2014. We also have a 503A facility which dispenses directly to patients. We’re licensed in 48 of the 50 states, and by year end, our goal is to have all 50 states covered. California and Mississippi are next on the list. We originally started with sexual health — particularly sterile ED injections — but have expanded into areas like weight management. With GLP-1 products like semaglutide and tirzepatide restricted for 503B production, we’re excited to launch liraglutide on June 11th with two different formulas. It was the first FDA-approved GLP-1. Amino acids are also popular, especially for weight loss. We continue to develop vein care products like STS and polidocanol formulas as well.

Shannon Battle (02:34):
Yeah, absolutely. Let’s look at some of these product offerings. What can our stores really get into, and what kind of support can you provide?

Hayden Goldman (02:44):
NAD is huge for telemedicine, which pairs very well with 503A and 503B facilities. While GLP-1 compounding has changed, liraglutide gives us a great new option. Amino acids are great for weight loss, ED injections continue to be strong, and we’re expanding vein care options as well. We’re seeing telemedicine practices explore many of these areas.

Shannon Battle (04:13):
You guys have a ton of support and resources available. If stores need additional guidance, they can also reach out to our pharmacy services team for consults.

Hayden Goldman (04:34):
Absolutely. We have an in-house team of six pharmacists ready to assist with dosing and product questions. They’re available by phone and email. Having actual pharmacists answer those calls makes a big difference.

Shannon Battle (04:52):
I love that it’s pharmacists answering directly, not customer service passing messages back and forth. That clinical knowledge is key.

Hayden Goldman (05:05):
Exactly. It’s rather uncommon, but important.

Shannon Battle (05:07):
Vetting outsourcing facilities isn’t easy for pharmacists with limited time. Why should they choose Olympia?

Hayden Goldman (05:20):
Quality is our top priority. Every product is tested and vetted by a third-party lab to meet CGMP and FDA standards before release. We’re family-owned, pharmacy-run, and have over 100 combined years of leadership experience. Our turnaround time is one of our biggest differentiators—next business day shipping is our standard. When other 503Bs were struggling with GLP-1 turnaround times, we stayed consistent. That reliability helps patients and providers trust us.

Shannon Battle (06:52):
Oh yeah, that keeps patients coming back when they know their orders arrive quickly.

Hayden Goldman (06:59):
Exactly.

Hayden Goldman (07:04):
We’re also LegitScript certified, which is important for telemedicine partners who require that certification. Our customer support structure is strong — each client has a dedicated rep, backed by both customer service and clinical teams. On the regulatory side, we have a director of regulatory affairs who previously worked for the Florida Attorney General’s office. We take compliance and regulatory standards very seriously and never compromise on those requirements.

Shannon Battle (08:49):
That’s the hardest part of vetting — knowing if companies truly follow the guidelines and compliance requirements. It’s great to hear how strong your regulatory focus is.

Hayden Goldman (09:03):
Absolutely.

Shannon Battle (09:05):
IPC members — both GPO and warehouse members — will have access to a large discounted formulary starting at a 25% discount, including your liraglutide offering. Can you explain the discounts?

Hayden Goldman (09:31):
We aren’t trying to be the cheapest in the market, but we focus on sourcing high-quality API and maintaining strict standards. Our standard discount starts around 25% for high-volume purchasers. With IPC members, we’re happy to extend those discounts up front because we know IPC represents serious pharmacy partners who value quality.

Shannon Battle (10:27):
You’re definitely a strong advocate in this space for independent pharmacies. We appreciate that.

Hayden Goldman (10:42):
Absolutely.

Shannon Battle (10:44):
You have a new facility opening, right? What’s going on with that?

Hayden Goldman (10:47):
Yes — Wesley Pharmaceuticals just opened in May. We’re working on licensure and hope to be in 10 to 20 states by year-end, with more coming in 2026. This facility was built for high-volume manufacturing. Olympia currently produces about 150,000 vials per week; Wesley will push us up to 450,000 vials weekly. To handle that output, we rely heavily on 503B-to-A outsourcing partnerships. Pharmacies remain our top priority.

Shannon Battle (12:05):
That’s reassuring — pharmacies can trust that orders will arrive and supply won’t be an issue.

Hayden Goldman (12:13):
No doubt about it.

Shannon Battle (12:16):
If anyone watching wants to get started, there’s a QR code on screen that links to IPC’s dedicated page for Olympia Pharmaceuticals. There are a few simple questions to collect your main point of contact, whether that’s a lead pharmacist or front store manager. This helps your team get pharmacies onboarded quickly. I’ll also get a copy so I can follow up and make sure everything stays on track. Hayden, it’s been a pleasure — thank you again! We’ll definitely do this again in the future.

Hayden Goldman (13:00):
Absolutely. Thank you, Shannon.

Shannon Battle (13:02):
Thanks, Hayden. Bye.

Hayden Goldman (13:04):
Bye.
