Shannon Battle (00:07):

Welcome and good morning everyone—or afternoon, depending on where you’re joining from. We’ll give it another moment since I know many of you are still logging in. Today we’re excited to share opportunities and education with our members. We have a lot of information on wellness and longevity products that pharmacies are already using and asking about to support the GLP-1 craze.

Thank you all for being here. My name is Shannon Battle, Pharmacy Services Manager at Independent Pharmacy Cooperative, and I’m joined by my colleague Samantha Pomeroy, Director of Pharmacy Services and Specialty Programs. We also have our friends Hayden and Erica from Olympia Pharmaceuticals. Glad to have you all with us.

Hayden Goldman (00:55):

Thank you, Shannon.

Shannon Battle (00:56):

Awesome. IPC has been working with Olympia for a few months now, and we’ve secured great pricing for both our GPO and warehouse members. But beyond that, the opportunities for pharmacies are endless. We want to make sure our viewers understand this space and how to make it work.

Sam, you’re really the voice of IPC for our stores—members reach out and consult with you regularly. What are you hearing right now in the GLP-1 space?

Samantha Pomeroy (01:34):

Not just GLP-1s, but overall when I talk to members, the question I always hear is: “Where are my cash opportunities?” Pharmacies want more cash business without a large upfront investment. That’s why working with Olympia and their 503B products is so appealing—this is a cash business, and patients are asking for it.

The space has grown significantly, and we’ve found a great partnership here with Hayden and Olympia. Kelly from our pharmacy services team did an onsite visit with Olympia and was very impressed—the facility, the clinical team, and the customer service.

The message we share with our members is: beyond GLP-1s, what else can we offer? These opportunities just make sense, and we’re excited to hear more education today from Hayden.

Hayden Goldman (03:32):

Yeah, absolutely. When GLP-1s first came about, they aligned with the rise of 503B outsourcing—allowing pharmacies like Olympia to dispense product without patient labels, ready for shelves. Those two things happening at the same time fueled not just pharmacy growth, but also the explosion of telemedicine.

Now, GLP-1s are largely a thing of the past—503Bs can’t produce them, they’re not on the shortage list, and they’re not on the bulks list. So where do we go next? I believe we’re going to see a strong push into longevity and wellness in late 2025 and into 2026. We’re ready for it.

Shannon Battle (04:48):

Great. Many of our members here may not know this space well. GLP-1s were easy to jump on, but now they don’t know what’s next or what Olympia offers. Could you walk us through it?

Hayden Goldman (05:07):

Absolutely. There’s still a GLP-1 available on the national drug shortage list—Liraglutide. It’s a solid alternative to semaglutide and tirzepatide, with studies showing 8–11% weight loss. The downside is that it’s a daily injection, but for new patients just starting a regimen, it’s a great and affordable option.

We’ve also developed dosing guides and resources for pharmacies to make patient education easier. Our clinical team is available by phone or email to support providers directly.

Beyond GLP-1s, we’re seeing strong demand for bundles like our Burn Bundle and Skinny Set—designed for patients maintaining weight loss or seeking additional support. MIC formulations and L-carnitine have been very popular, and our team continues to innovate around these options.

Samantha Pomeroy (10:44):

Hayden, you’ve mentioned telemedicine several times. IPC has a digital health platform for our GPO members with integrated telemedicine, but many of our warehouse members don’t. For those pharmacies, what advice would you give on getting started with these wellness products in their local communities?

Hayden Goldman (11:31):

Great question. Even if you don’t have telemedicine connections, patients already see these products marketed daily by big telehealth brands. But patients prefer trusted providers—so local pharmacies have an edge.

Look for partnerships with family practices, urgent care clinics, functional medicine practices, and even urology practices. These providers are looking for hydration, wellness, or weight loss options and are natural partners. Olympia provides marketing tools and clinical support to help pharmacies with outreach.

Samantha Pomeroy (13:24):

Before we move on, a reminder: if you have questions, please put them in the Q&A. Erica Hahn from Olympia is here and happy to answer them.

Hayden Goldman (13:46):

Perfect. Looking at alternatives, some of the strongest options are lipotropics, amino blends, and peptides like Sermorelin. Sermorelin is going to be especially important for patients regaining muscle mass after weight loss.

We’re also launching new formulations, like a liquid version of Sermorelin later this year, to make administration easier. And peptides like NAD are already showing strong demand for longevity and wellness. We recently released a liquid NAD that doubles the dosage while cutting cost in half—something IPC members are getting at especially strong pricing.

Samantha Pomeroy (21:53):

That flexibility is so important. Many of our pharmacies want to test the waters with just one vial before committing to larger orders. The fact that Olympia allows this is a huge benefit.

Hayden Goldman (22:33):

Exactly. We don’t require minimums, so pharmacies can start small and grow as demand grows.

(…continues with NAD dosing discussion, glutathione trends, and first-mover advantage in longevity products…)

Shannon Battle (24:51):

Alright, as we wrap up, if you haven’t seen Olympia’s catalog, you can scan the QR code on the screen to access IPC’s landing page and request more information. And mark your calendar for our next webinar on alternatives to oral tablets for ED—Hayden, you mentioned Trimix earlier, and that’s going to be a valuable topic.

Hayden Goldman (25:37):

Absolutely. Trimix is widely known in urology, and the key is education. Looking forward to that discussion on the 28th.

Samantha Pomeroy (26:01):

Hayden, before we close, some members still hesitate about entering this space. Could you share what sets Olympia apart and why pharmacies should feel confident?

Hayden Goldman (26:47):

Of course. Every batch we produce undergoes rigorous third-party testing before leaving our facility. We have a full clinical team of pharmacists available for direct consultation, and we’ve made major investments in quality and engineering staff to maintain the highest standards.

We’re also fully transparent about FDA 483s and work proactively to address any issues. Our responsiveness, customer service, and clinical support truly set us apart.

Samantha Pomeroy (30:07):

Thank you for that transparency. To clarify for members: these offers are open to both our GPO members and warehouse members. Discounts are 25–30% off Olympia’s 503B products, and no additional membership fees are required.

If you’re unsure of your membership type, just reach out to me at [email protected]
or scan the QR code—we’ll confirm your account.

Shannon Battle (31:18):

Looks like that’s all the questions for today. Thank you everyone for joining us, and please reach out with follow-ups. Education is key in this space, and we’re excited to continue supporting you. Don’t forget to join us for the next webinar on ED products.

Hayden Goldman (32:31):

Thank you all for having us.

Samantha Pomeroy (32:33):
Thank you.

Shannon Battle (32:33):
Thanks everyone.
