Momentum is Building for PBM Reform Favoring Pharmacy

IPC’s EVP of Government Relations, Mark Kinney, was a recent featured guest on the popular Pharmacy Crossroads podcast with Bruce Kneeland.

In this episode Mark shares information about his recent visit to Washington D.C, where he met with leaders in the Senate, House, CMS and other agencies. With several reform bills being considered, Mark feels the momentum for passing PBM reform legislation has shifted to favor pharmacy.

Mark and Bruce also discussed the upcoming DIR changes and about how important it is for independent pharmacy owners to contact elected officials to help them understand how abusive PBM practices harm tax payers.
