Financial Clarity

EQUIPP gives community pharmacies more ways to get paid for the patient care they already provide. Through payer programs like Enhanced Services, EQUIPP brings patient care opportunities from multiple payers to community pharmacies nationwide.

And for pharmacies that haven’t taken a close look lately, there may be more opportunities there than you realize.

As one IPC member recently shared:

“I had no idea EQUIPP had changed so much. When I saw that I could earn $35 for completing a blood pressure reading, I thought—I wish I had more patients attributed to my pharmacy. Why wouldn’t I do this?”

That reaction says a lot. These are opportunities to be paid for meaningful patient care—often through activities that can be worked into what your team is already doing every day. The first step is simply knowing where to look.

Where Your Dollars Are Right Now

EQUIPP’s Longitudinal Adherence Monitoring Program (LAMP) pays pharmacies for keeping patients adherent all year, built around core PDC measures for diabetes, RASA, and cholesterol. Each measure needs to reach 80% or higher by year end.

Here’s how the payments stack up:

  • Quarterly check-ins: Up to three $10 check-ins per patient measure, one per quarter (Q2: April–June, Q3: July–September, Q4: October–December), plus on-time fill bonuses once unlocked.
  • New for 2026: Gap closure payments for Statin Therapy for Patients with Diabetes (SPD) now pay $60 each, once per patient per year.

Closing Summer’s Gaps: The LAMP Q3 Check-In Workflow

Q3 check-ins are built to close the gaps that tend to open right when summer starts.

The flow is simple:

The New Centene On-Time Fill (OTF) Bonus

This is a per-patient, per-measure opportunity layered on top of the check-in payments.

Every qualifying refill can generate additional revenue:

  • $15 per on-time fill for a 28-day supply
  • $45 per on-time fill for an 84-day supply

Timing is what makes this one work. A quarterly check-in has to be completed before the patient’s refill due date. Once that’s done, every on-time refill after it automatically qualifies for the bonus, no extra documentation required. The biggest opportunity here is making sure check-ins happen early and consistently, so no eligible refill is missed.

Inside EQUIPP, marking a completed check-in is as simple as checking it off, no additional paperwork. The system also shows when each opportunity is expiring and what dollar amount is tied to it, so teams can prioritize by urgency and value at the same time.

End-of-Year Final Fill Opportunities

Some final fill opportunities inside the LAMP Enhanced Services page are available now in Q3, while many more will appear in Q4. Plans are paying an extra $60 per fill for the last refill of the year, and all it takes to get paid is documenting the interaction. The workflow follows the same pattern: identify, engage, document, fill. Sort by expiration date to make sure nothing slips through.
