Over the past few years our Board of Directors have guided IPC to drive cost-saving initiatives, passing the savings on to our members and customers, and led the organization to create Digital Health and iCare+, a transformative healthcare solution for independent pharmacy.

Duties and Expectations of our Directors:

  • When someone serves as a member of IPC’s Board of Directors, they are taking on a fiduciary role which comes with certain commitments during their 3-year term.
  • They need to be able and willing to review, understand and discuss complex business arrangements in furtherance of the Coop’s business. 
  • They need to be willing to travel to quarterly board meetings (each about 3-4 days between travel/meeting attendance). 
  • They may need to make themselves available for calls and special meetings held remotely during the year.  
  • They should be willing to participate on one or more committees of the board. 
  • They need to make themselves available for feedback and advice on matters of importance to IPC and its Members. 
  • They are expected to disclose and to the extent possible avoid any conflicts of interest between the Board member and IPC’s financial interests and objectives.
