Your Input is Critical! AHCA Requests Public Input for New Florida Medicaid Managed Care Contracts. Don’t Miss This Chance to Push for Open Networks!
IPC knows the frustration our Florida members have with several Florida Medicaid managed care plans (Humana and Silverstone) keeping you out of their MCO pharmacy networks and denying these Medicaid patients the freedom to choose your pharmacy. We now have the opportunity to make the case to end this restriction since Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is starting the process to adopt a new five year Medicaid managed care contract with MCO insurers.
IPC needs your help gathering patient stories regarding recent restrictive pharmacy networks! It is key that we collect this information for AHCA officials to get the agency to give Florida Medicaid patients pharmacy choice freedom. Show how you provide quality services and patient outcomes (5 Star Ratings, certifications, qualifications, patient-focused services). We have enclosed a “patient survey template”; please print out and ask your patients to complete. The more personal stories we gather the better!
Reach out to your affected patients to complete a Patient Network Survey. Submit all forms to GovernmentRelations@ipcrx.com AND email your Florida State Senator today!
