As a COVID-19 vaccine gets closer it is important to keep in mind how pharmacists can help to vaccinate the community. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has authorized pharmacists and pharmacy interns to order and administer FDA-authorized or FDA-licensed COVID-19 vaccines to all individuals age 3 or older. Participating pharmacists must be state-licensed and pharmacy interns must be licensed or registered by their state board of pharmacy while also satisfying specific requirements. If you have questions about these requirements or want to know how to prepare your pharmacy for this vaccine, email email@example.com.

Fun Fall Festivities!
IPC Supports Two GrandOpenings
IPC proudly sponsored grand openings for two member stores in October, including the Grand Opening of True Wellness Pharmacy in Van Buren Township, MI on October 15! Owner Michael Sleiman braved rainy and raw weather to serve as grillmaster, passing out hamburgers and hot dogs to those in attendance. These 50-60 folks were also treated to donuts and apple cider.
Two lucky people also won an Echo Show and everyone received complimentary tote bags, items sponsored by IPC. Sleiman also gave away pens in the form of a pill, which he says were a big hit!
“IPC and Pharm Fresh did a really good job coordinating everything and helping to get everything up and running,” Sleiman said.
