State legislators play a key role in the fight against COVID-19 and other public health emergencies. While governors may declare public health emergencies, state legislators have adjusted state laws to help public health agencies and health care professionals address the pandemic. Hear about legislative actions from across the country covering testing policies, vaccine distribution, scope of practice, health coverage, provider reimbursements and more.
